The George Floyd Justice Act has passed in the US House of Representatives and has moved on to the Senate for consideration. The bill addresses issues in police practices, reform in police training and policies, law enforcement accountability and transperancy with data collection.
Steps To Take Action

- Step 1: Normalize discussions about the injustices in America among your friends and family.
- Step 2: Contribute to small businesses owned by people of color.
- Step 3: Research and participate in activities around your community that are aimed to fighting systemic racism.
- Step 4: Call or contact your senator and ask them to support the George Floyd Justice Act.
- Step 5: Research your state's voting primary and vote.
- Step 6: Use your social media as a platform to spread awareness and ways to take action.
